Cornelian Cherry 'Coral Blaze™' (Cornus mas) Graft while second-year canes (floricanes) fruitThis recently introduced Ukrainian variety, Coral Blaze is very disease resistant and bears good crops of large, sweet, flavorful fruit. The striking, bright red fruit is good for fresh eating and makes delicious preserves. The fruit ripens in late August to early September, and then the leaves turn lovely shades of yellow and red. Semi self fertile, so plant two varieties for cross pollination and to ensure good crops. Extremely hardy to minus 30 F.
