1940 Hand Painted Ivory / Pink Camelia Blue Botanical English Transferware Plate vintage black toile serving bowl Measures: 15” x 12"Vintage Crown Ducal hand painted botanical plate depicting Camelias. The main pattern is transfer printed with highlights, accents, shading and color all hand painted by artists of the English pottery firm. It has a navy border with acanthus leaf borders with gilded trim. I believe they are by Reuben Hague or were done under his direction while at Crown Ducal. I have had several other plates from Crown Ducal which were signed by Hague himself. These
