Scapa 13 Year Old 2005 - Distillery Labels (Gordon & MacPhail) practicing organic yet bursts with fruityA Gordon & MacPhail bottling of Scapa single malt from Orkney, released as part of the Distillery labels series. It was distilled in 2005 and left to age in first fill bourbon barrels until 2018, when it was bottled at 43% ABV. The label is enjoyably retro styled, featuring an old, old wooden ship. Nose: Sharp green apple, melted butter, a touch of spent match underneath fresh malt notes. Palate: Creamy vanilla and runny honey. Citrus acidity
