Georgian Chalcedony Hourglass Charm "Tempora Mutantur" platinum Whether or not this antiqueDATE: Georgian, c. 1820 A cool Georgian hourglass charm pendant dating from the early 19th Century, circa 1820. The bulbs are carved from a single piece of chalcedony, with the words "Time trieth" (time tries) and "Tempora Mutantur" (times are changed) the latter an abbreviation of the adage: "Times are changed; we, too, are changed within them".
