The H8 bulb is a single function bulb and can be used for either main beam

These are shaped to fit inside of the recesses of the rear bumper directly underneath the tow hoops (if you have them installed on your vehicle)

The carbon impregnated one will be greyish in colour and the non carbon filter will be white - see pictures

It is actually quite easy to change this item as its located at the front of the engine - see below video (video shows the Freelander 2 but its the same engine in the Evoque)
