The lift up lid with a thumb molded edge, the top locks and there is the original brass oval escutcheon to the front of the chest with three arched panels below. The lift up lid encloses a generous amount of clean and aroma free storage, the base of the chest is fitted with two drawers, each with twin brass bale handles and oval brass lock escutcheons.
