The Mother of Pearl petals have a nice sheen. They are inlaid in a purple enamel background which compliments the pink and lavender hues of the mop and abalone shell. Not sterling. Clip ons. 1&1 4 x 3 4. Very nice size for across the room recognition. Vintage, flower earrings, boho, hippie vibe but very clean cut presentation. Delicate and pretty. We especially love the grape purple
